Born May 4th 1998 in Columbia, South Carolina, Taylar Hender began her career at the age of 5 when she sang the Shirley Temple song 'On the Good Ship Lollipop' in front of an audience of 1,000 people at a school talent show. Although she had butterflies in her stomach, the standing ovation gave Taylar the desire to persue acting professionally.

In 2007, Taylar and her family moved to Los Angeles where she booked several national commercials including Ashley Furniture, Playmate toys and Icarly Playmate. Taylar's television credits include 'Are you smarter than a 5th grader?' as herself, the voice of Chloe in Playhouse Disney's 'Can you teach my alligator manners?' a guest role in 'Special Agent Oso' a role in PBS series 'Kids Talk Politics' and a promo with Jay Leno for the Kentucky Derby. This year, 2011, Taylar has booked a guest star role on Disney's hit shows 'Good Luck Charlie' and 'Sonny With a Chance'. She has also booked a national commericial for Build-A-Bear and her 3D DVD 'Jillian's Travels' in which she plays Jillian is set to come out this year also.

Taylar's film credits include leading roles in the short film 'Howard the Coward', as well as the feature 'Liv'.Taylar has also appeared in 'Spread some Love', 'Paradise, Texas', and 'Hallow's End'. In 2010, Taylar starred in the Disney Film 'Den Brother' as Abigail and the hit film 'Judy Moody and The Bummer Summer' as Amy Namey which comes out June 2011. Taylar has also recently booked the lead role of Amanda in Deadtime Stories which is currently in pre-production.

Taylor resides in Los Angeles with her mother Missy and Brothers Brady and Brandon. When she's not working, Taylar attends school and enjoys reading, singing, dancing and gymnastics.
